Spectivon for environmental insurance underwriters
Underwriters need a defensible read of what the environmental documents for a project say, what they do not say, and where they disagree. Spectivon is an environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance platform for renewable energy. It reads the documents in place in your SharePoint and reports each risk with a citation to the exact source page, shows which expected document types are missing, lists any pages it could not read, and surfaces conflicts between sources.
What matters to an underwriter
- A traceable record. Every finding links to its source document and page and quotes the passage it rests on, so a file note can point to the evidence.
- Gaps as well as findings. An expected-versus-present checklist shows which document types are absent, and a document type that was reviewed and produced no findings is marked as a clean result, which is different from never having been scanned.
- Honest coverage. Each document shows the share scanned, and any page left out is listed by page number, including contact-list pages excluded to protect personal information.
- Conflicts. Where two documents disagree about the same fact, both are shown.
- Source labeling. Each document is classified as seller-produced, independent, or ambiguous, and a finding drawn from a seller-produced document is badged as an unverified seller estimate.
How it fits the workflow
Your team keeps the documents in its own SharePoint, and signs in with its own Microsoft account; Spectivon never sees those passwords. Spectivon reads the documents in place, and original files are never stored. Spectivon returns a ranked, filterable risk register, a due diligence memo generated from the current findings, and Document Chat for your own questions with page citations. Your specialists make the underwriting judgment.
