About Spectivon
Spectivon is an environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance platform for renewable energy, and a product of Kryphion Systems, LLC, a Florida company. It reads a project's documents where they sit in your SharePoint and returns environmental, permitting, and compliance risks, permits, permit conditions, and schedule dates, each cited to the exact source document and page. It was founded by Nathan Shemella after nearly ten years of environmental and GIS work in energy, most of it supporting renewable development at NextEra Energy and Enel North America.
Why Spectivon exists
Environmental teams sit on top of an unmanageable document corpus: permits, studies, agency correspondence, and mitigation plans, spread across a dozen simultaneous transactions or a portfolio of projects in development. Much of it comes from outside consultants and arrives by email, so even knowing which version is current takes work. The bottleneck was never access to the documents. It was the time and attention required to surface the findings that actually matter and keep up with every update.
Spectivon started with buy-side M&A diligence, where the pressure is sharpest and the review window is shortest. The same problem shows up across the lifecycle: permit matrices for projects in development, condition tracking after a permit is issued, compliance calendars, the project schedule, and the recurring question of what a given approval obligates you to do. Spectivon now works across that span, on one project record that carries from diligence into ownership.

Background
Nathan Shemella, Spectivon's founder, screened proposed renewable energy projects for environmental fatal flaws at NextEra Energy, then led environmental GIS data management and compliance for a portfolio of renewable energy projects across the United States and Canada at Enel North America. Earlier, at Atkins, he carried transmission and distribution projects for Florida Power & Light from environmental assessment through permitting and construction compliance, and he began his career as a licensed deck officer aboard petroleum tankers. He serves on the Town of Jupiter's Environmental Task Force.
That experience is the product's foundation. Spectivon is built around the risk taxonomy, permit structures, document types, and review workflows of renewable energy projects, not as a generic tool pointed at PDFs.
